I would highly recommend, viewing Jason’s elaborate and well set out web page, to find the course that really suits you, lots of options, easy to use. And Jason’s communication with you leading up to the day of your tuition is exemplary. The weather had changed a few times so the booking was moved to suit me, knowing we would get the best out of the day. Jason made me feel very relaxed. I was a complete newcomer to digital photography. The day felt very tailored to me as an individual. Jason’s teaching methods showed me so much more to do on my camera than just the manual setting. He steered me away to explain how important aperture and shutter speed was in simple terms. Not shying away from showing me the importance of the histogram. We didn’t spend too much time on focusing on taking one shot, we moved around, worked out the rule of thirds, which I’d never heard of, I gained a much better understanding of what it was that I wanted out of taking that perfect photograph for me. Clicking silhouettes with the sun being at a 90 degree angle made more sense to me, than having the sun behind me. I managed to get some fantastic photos, the end to the day was at the beautiful Pilgrims Way Route with the sun going down, the colours were truly magical and even my own photograph blew me away. A perfect finish to a perfect day, by a perfect instructor. Can’t wait to get back onto Jason’s website and book more tuition.
